I haven’t been saying much about my new book because I was so busy writing it! I’m excited to finally show you the cover art, and I can’t wait for A FIRE SPARKLING to be released on August 1. This is the book I was writing while living in London, and it was an absolute joy to complete. It’s the biggest book I’ve ever written, coming in at 125,000 words (most of my contemporary novels have been 60-80K words), and it has a dual timeline – set partly in contemporary times while also reaching back to London during World War II. Here’s a link to the book page on Amazon if you want to learn more and/or pre-order the novel. I’m thrilled that it will be available in hardcover as well as trade paperback. The audio edition will also release on August 1. And here’s an early review!
“A young woman’s quest to find the truth about her grandmother’s past reveals World War II intrigue, mistaken identity, and a labyrinth of romance, doubt, and lies. A Fire Sparkling is a satisfying and heartfelt page-turner that keeps readers guessing until the very last page. This book combines so many of my favorite things – long-held family secrets, surprising characters, and resilient women who fight for love.” – Lynda Cohen Loigman, author of The Wartime Sisters and The Two-Family House
