Hi there! You may have noticed I’ve been quiet on social media lately, but I was approaching a deadline, so I retreated into my writing cave for a while. But I’m happy to report that I finished the novel a few days before Christmas. It’s due on my editor’s desk on January 15, so I still have some time for a final polish before I turn it in.
This is the Sable Island book which you can learn more about on my blog where I post pictures and write about an incredible research trip I took in July. I don’t have an official title yet, or a release date, but I’ll share that information with you as soon as I have it. If you want to be first to see the cover reveal, please sign up for my newsletter, which is where I’ll share it early!
As for what’s coming next, as soon as I deliver this manuscript, I’ll start plotting a new novel for Lake Union (the second of a two-book contract). I’ll start writing it as soon as I have a full vision for the novel, and my deadline is January 2025, which means I’ll enjoy another summer of writing in my lovely, screened-in gazebo at home, pictured here, which I also refer to as my summer office.
